二哥, 昨夜的诗

Yesterday night, I was filled with inspirations. Accually intended to write a poem, but my brother was using it. Today, I am writing poem for yesterday.

Wish

Sweet sixteen (6/23/08)
Today is my sweet sixteen.
I remember my previous birthday.
The cake with candles on top.
Where I could blow out all of them.
In hope that my wishes will come true.

I wished for:
A big party for today.
Or a nice, romantic date,
With someone special today.
Well, today is almost over.
There has been
No party,
And no romantic date.
Not even a cake for me to make wishes.

So, now I close my eyes,
Candles infront of me, and I blew them out.
I wish for your love.
Maybe it is selfish,
But I cannot help it,
Your love is the thing I desire above all others.
So, please forgive me.
But if you ever love me.
Maybe I will start to believe in the power of wishes on birthday candles.
